Ms Nyameka Nandi Mayathula-Khoza is the Chairperson and Spokesperson of the Central Drug Authority. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, Bachelor of Education Degree and a Diploma in Municipal Management Development.

Her previous work experience includes being a Local Government Councillor and Mayor, MEC of Gauteng for Departments of Agriculture and Environment, Social Development and Infrastructure Development.

She sits on the board of SANPARKS and is the executive director of the Mayatula Foundation which provides extra lessons to young people on maths and science and also supports interventions aimed at curbing social ills enabled by substance use disorders.
