PSAF’s are appointed by MEC’s of provinces to strengthen provincial member organisations to carry out functions related directly or indirectly to addressing the problem of substance abuse. They assist Local Drug Action Committees (LDAC’s) in implementing the NDMP and report to the Central Drug Authority. PSAF’s can be contacted for information on Local Drug Action Committees in their province.
